Biography

Dr. SANNI Toibudeen Adesegun* is a Food Science and Technology expert with nearly two decades of dedicated service in teaching, research, and community engagement at the university level. A proud alumnus of *Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife*, where he obtained his *BSc, MSc, and PhD in Food Science and Technology*, Dr. Sanni has built a career around solving critical challenges in the agri-food sector.
 
His core research areas are *Food Processing, Post-harvest Management, and Food Preservation Technologies*. He has published *more than 35 articles in reputable local and international journals*. His work addresses key issues of food loss reduction, shelf-life extension, food safety, and value addition to indigenous foods. Through his research and teaching, Dr. Sanni contributes to national efforts toward food security, sustainable food systems, and Industry 5.0 in agriculture.
