Biography

Samson Olaoluwa Amosu, MLIS, CLN, is a librarian, researcher, and academic from Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. Born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, he is currently an Assistant Librarian and Lecturer at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Tai Solarin University of Education. He is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN) registered with the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) and is also a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

As a librarian, Samson is actively engaged in information retrieval, cataloguing and classification, information organization and the teaching of General Studies (GST 103 – Use of Library) and other library-related courses. He is committed to advancing academic librarianship through innovative service delivery, research, and professional development.
