Biography

Dr. Osmond Chigozie Agu is a Reader/ Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Dr. Agu had his BSc. Economics from Enugu State University of Science & Technology, MSc. Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He bagged his PhD. Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Dr. Agu has Supervised more than 200 undergraduate students and more than 10 postgraduate students. He has attended 10+ local and international workshops/conferences. He has also published more than 50 articles in reputable local and international journals. He was a Postdoctoral fellow in the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Research Interests

Foreign Direct Investment, private investment, credit management, banking, governance, manufacturing sector performance, and post-COVID-19 restructuring of Africa oil exporting countries.
