Biography

Dr. Olufolake Adebanke Odunola, born in Inisa, Osun State, Nigeria, is a dedicated chemical engineer and researcher with a focus on environmental remediation. She earned her B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. Her research centers on innovative soil treatment methods, including bioremediation and electrobioremediation of soils contaminated with phenol, lead, and hydrocarbons. Olufolake is a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and COREN, with professional experience in academia and research institutions. She is committed to advancing sustainable environmental solutions and actively engages in community service, professional development, and scientific research.

Research Interests

Olufolake Adebanke Odunola's research interests include the development and optimization of bioremediation techniques for the detoxification of polluted soils and water. She is particularly focused on electrobioremediation processes for treating contaminated environments, exploring innovative solutions to remove heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and other toxic pollutants.
