Biography

Born on 4th July 1962 in Moro, Osun State, Nigeria. Educated at Origbo Community High School, Ipetumodu, University of Ibadan, Ibadan and National Teachers' Institute, Kaduna. Qualifications: B. Sc., M.Sc. PGDE, PhD. Specialised in Aquaculture and Fisheries. He began his academic career at the Osun State College of Education before proceeding to Osun State University in 2009 and Federal University Oye-Ekiti in 2015 as a Senior Lecturer and he became a Professor in the year 2023. He specialised in Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources Management. His research spans through fish nutrition, aquaculture, aquatic toxicology, water quality management among others. He has published many journal articles and referred conference proceedings. He is a section editor to Fountain University Journal of Applied and Natural Science (FUJNAS), a Scopus Indexed Journal. He won Erasmus+ Mobility Programme for both Staff and students in Collaboration with Universitat de Salento. He was a consultant nutritionist to Osun State Home Grown Programme between 2011 and 2015, He also consults for many private individuals and organisations. He is married with three children.
