Biography

Dr Israel Oluwatosin AYODELE is a distinguished academic affiliated with the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti in Nigeria with over 12 years experience, where he has contributed significantly to the field of public health and psychology. He had his PhD in Organisational and Industrial Psychology from the Department of Psychology, Howard campus, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. His research primarily focuses on the intersection of mental health, emotional regulation, and public health responses, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In recent publications, Ayodele has explored critical issues such as the emotional challenges faced by frontline healthcare workers during the pandemic and the complex dynamics of public trust in government regarding vaccination acceptance in Nigeria. His work sheds light on how psychological factors influence health behaviors and attitudes, offering valuable insights for policymakers and health practitioners.

Ayodele's commitment to understanding the psychological dimensions of public health is further exemplified in his studies on vaccination attitudes and the implications of psychological contract breaches in various sectors, including law enforcement. His contributions to journals such as the Journal of Workplace Behavioral Health and the International Journal of Police Science and Management highlight his dedication to addressing pressing societal issues through rigorous research and analysis.

In addition to the above, Ayodele is equally a teen counsellor and relationship coach mentoring and helping teenagers and younger adults to become emotionally balanced and upright. He is happily married with lovely kids.
