Biography

I am a PhD student in Science Education at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, where I previously obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Chemistry Education and Bachelor of Science in education(Chemistry). My research is centered on technology-enhanced science instruction, with a particular focus on examining the effects of computer-assisted instructional packages (CAIPs) on the learning outcomes of Senior Secondary School students in Chemistry in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Through this research, I seek to generate empirical evidence that will inform teachers, curriculum developers, educational administrators, and policymakers on the effectiveness and sustainability of CAIPs as an innovative approach to improving Chemistry teaching and learning, particularly in low- and middle-resource educational settings.
In the long term, I aspire to contribute to advancing Science Education in Nigeria through curriculum innovation, teacher professional development, and evidence-based educational policy. My broader research interest is to promote the effective integration of educational technologies into science teaching and learning, thereby enhancing students' achievement, engagement, and overall learning outcomes.
