Biography

Ayenigbara Emmanuel Temitope is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Faculty of Education, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed) in Human Kinetics from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Sociology and Psychology of Sport from the University of Ibadan, where his thesis examined the perceived influence of imagery and self-efficacy on mental toughness among secondary school athletes. Since joining FUOYE in 2024, he has taught over twenty undergraduate courses spanning sport psychology, adapted physical education, athlete mental health, coaching, research methodology, and the application of artificial intelligence in human kinetics. His research has been published in peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals, with contributions addressing augmented and virtual reality in sports education, mental health support for athletes, exercise adherence, and psychological resilience in sport. He is a member of the Sports Psychology Association of Nigeria (SPAN) and the Nigeria Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Sports Psychology.
