Biography
DR. BOJUWON MUSTAPHA
BSc | MSc | PhD | FIPDM
Dr Bojuwon Mustapha is a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria, where he has served since February 2020. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia (2015), an MSc in International Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2010), and a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from Kogi State University, Anyigba (2005). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development (FIPDM).
With over fifteen years of experience in teaching, research and professional practice, he previously served as Senior Lecturer at Fountain University, Osogbo (2015–2020) and held teaching and research roles at the International Islamic University Malaysia (2012–2014). His early career included accounting, finance and marketing positions at Ohon Micro Finance Bank and Universal Investment Development Company ASABA Delta State, where he served his nation as NYSC.
His research, indexed in Scopus, IBSS and other databases, focuses on taxation and e-tax systems, international accounting, environmental accounting, corporate governance, financial inclusion and artificial intelligence in accounting. His articles have appeared in the International Review of Management and Marketing, the Journal of Risk and Financial Management, The TQM Journal and the Journal of Law and Sustainable Development, among others.
Dr Bojuwon has supervised one PhD and twelve MSc students to completion and currently mentors six PhD candidates and several MSc students on international accounting, sustainability reporting, digital taxation, transfer pricing and tax compliance. He teaches Advanced Taxation, International Accounting, Environmental Management Accounting and Research Methodology and has served as Faculty Examination Officer and Faculty of Management Postgraduate Representative at FUOYE.
