Biography

Ismail Afeogboha MOMOH (CLN), is a Lecturer and Researcher in the department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Education, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Ismail’s specialises in library and information science with special interest in library management, library personnel job commitment and knowledge sharing for organisational effectiveness.
He joined the Federal University Oye-Ekiti on 02/03/2020 as an Assistant Lecturer. Three years after in 2023 he was promoted to Lecturer II. He has successfully supervised forty-seven (47) undergraduate projects since joining the academic in 2020. He also has authored and co-authored scholarly articles published in reputable national and international journals.
He has two Master degrees. The first; in Information Science (M.Inf.Sc) in 2005 and the second in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) in 2014 as well as a Bachelor degree in Educational Management/Economics in 2001, all from the prestiguous University of Ibadan. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Science in the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
He has passion for singing. He also values hard work, integrity, mutual respect and compassion. Ismail’s future goal is to become a renowned professor of Library and Information Science.
