Biography

Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Opara is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Management and Business Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He holds the national certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc.Ed.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) from university of Jos, and Doctor of philosophy (Ph.D) from Imo State University Owerri, His special interest is on Educational administration and planning. He is a distinguished educationist and scholar. He has contributed significantly to educational research and academic development through teaching, publications, professional and community services. He is into teaching, research and community services. His versatility in academics, as acknowledged by erudite scholars who worked with him, is evidence of his scholarship and prolific works. He has over fifty local and international publications and attended over twenty-two major conferences and workshops within and outside Nigeria. As part of his community services, he has published the following books to advance knowledge, they are: i) Medicinal and Nutritional Potentials of Moringa Oleifera and Other Indigenous Plants in Nigeria (2011), Spring Field Publishers, Owerri. ii) Methods of Teaching Map Reading, Elementary Land Surveying and Statistics in Geography (2021), Skillmark Publishers, Owerri. iii) Dividends of Anti-corruption Crusade in Nigeria and Its Sustainability (2007), Lizborn Publishers, Jos. iv) Great Educators Ideas in a Contemporary world (2026), OBZ Ventures, Owerri. His current publications are: i)Politics of insecurity and the management of schools in Nigeria: challenges, implications and policy responses. ii) scopus publication: Awareness and perception as predictors of preparedness to use Al in health emergence among undergraduates: a machine learning approach. iii) From Chalkboards to Intelligent Systems: Comparative Analysis of Traditional and Al Driven Teaching in Nigerian Federal Universities for Global Competitiveness. Which attracted #20,000,000 NFR grant.
