Biography

Blessing Titilayo Inya is a Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria. She holds a Master's degree in English (Language) from the University of Ibadan, and is currently pursuing a PhD in English Language in the areas of genre analysis and online health communication.
With over a decade of university teaching experience, Blessing has taught courses in Spoken English, English Grammar, Phonology, and other language-related subjects. She is a certified CELTA teacher.
Her research explores the ways language shapes social interaction in digital environments, with particular emphasis on Nigerian online health advice discourse, humour, and emerging digital genres. She has published in the areas of discourse analysis, humour studies, linguistic landscape, gender, and media discourse.
