Biography

I am an assistant lecturer in biochemistry with a strong interdisciplinary interest in the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to biological and biomedical sciences. My academic work integrates core principles of biochemistry with computational approaches to advance research and problem-solving in healthcare and life sciences.

I have a solid background in biochemistry and molecular sciences, with teaching and research experience that spans undergraduate instruction, laboratory support, and academic mentoring. My work in biochemistry provides the foundation for my interest in understanding biological systems at the molecular level, particularly in relation to disease mechanisms and diagnostics.

In addition to my core discipline, I have developed strong technical skills in Python programming, SQL database design, and machine learning model development. I have applied these skills in projects such as malaria cell image classification, where I used computer vision techniques to support automated analysis of biomedical images. I have also worked on structured database systems using MySQL and developed interactive data applications using Streamlit for data visualization and reporting.

I have contributed to academic training and capacity-building initiatives, supporting students in developing foundational skills in programming and data analytics. This has strengthened my ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into practical learning experiences.

My academic interests lie at the intersection of biochemistry, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and health informatics. I am particularly interested in how computational tools can enhance biological research, improve diagnostic systems, and support data-driven healthcare solutions.

I remain committed to continuous academic growth, effective teaching, and impactful research that bridges the gap between classical biochemical science and modern computational technologies.
