Professor Eunice Moriyike Ogunbusola is a Nigerian academic, researcher and scholar of national and international repute in the field of Food Science and Technology. She has contributed remarkably to researches in food science and technology, production of functional foods from indigenous food commodities and institutional administration.
Eunice obtained her First Degree in Food Science and Technology from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with a second-class (Upper Division) honours degree. She proceeded to University of Ibadan, Ibadan where she obtained a Master degree in Food Technology and later Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Professor Ogunbusola has authored and co-authored over fifty (50) scholarly publications in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests span food processing and preservation, food product development, functional foods, food value addition and oilseeds processing. She has attended and participated actively in numerous local and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and scientific symposia, where she has presented research findings, delivered academic papers, and engaged in collaborations with scholars and industry experts across the world.
Professor Ogunbusola has visited the Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology, Durban University of Technology Durban South Africa for a three month research fellowship.
She is happily married with children and grandchildren.
