Biography

Jamiu Adewale Abdulsalam, CLN is a Nigerian scholar and researcher specialising in Library and Information Science. He is dedicated to advancing research, teaching and professional practice through innovative approaches to information management, digital technologies and knowledge dissemination.

He obtained a National Diploma (ND) with Distinction in Library and Information Science from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, in 2014. He later earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Library and Information Science with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State. In 2024, he completed a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) with Ph.D. grade at the University of Ibadan, where he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Library and Information Studies.

A Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), Jamiu has established himself as an emerging academic with research interests in information literacy, information behaviour, digital libraries, knowledge management, scholarly communication, artificial intelligence in libraries, social media and information use, research productivity, and emerging technologies in library services. He has authored and co-authored scholarly articles published in reputable national and international journals and has presented research findings at academic conferences and professional seminars.
