Biography

I am a University Teacher, Researcher and Administrator. I had a pioneering Ph.D. research in the field of Agricultural Geophysics in Nigeria. I'm a vast near surface geophysicist and I have indexed publications covering the fields of Agrogeophysics, Engineering Geophysics, Hydrogeophysics, Environmental Impact Assessment, Geothermal Energy and Mineral Exploration. I'm currently making another pioneering effort in the field of Forensic Geophysics. I have successfully supervised three (3) doctoral students and currently supervising four (4) whose research cut across different areas of Applied Geophysics. I am well versed in the use of several Geophysical methods including but not limited to the Spontaneous potential method, Electrical resistivity method, Gravity method, Magnetic method, seismic refraction method, Very Low frequency electromagnetic method and ground penetrating radar method. I am also an expert in Remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems. I have produced several maps relevant to academic research and national development.
