Biography
Dr Bayo James was born and raised in Oyo town. He had his primary and secondary education in Oyo town. He moved to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State to study Mass Communication. At the end of his First Degree programme, Dr Bayo James made a Second-Class (Upper Division), coming out as one of the best graduating students in the 2008/2009 Academic Session. After the completion of his NYSC at Kaita Secondary School, Katsina State, Dr Bayo James moved to the University of Ibadan for his Master of Arts in Communication and Language Arts. At the end of his M.A programme in the University of Ibadan, Dr Bayo James secured an employment with Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, where he began his academic career. Because of his unquenching desire for education, he moved to the University of Uyo for his Doctoral programme in Mass Communication in 2015. He finished his PhD IN 2019. Dr Bayo James has worked in several universities, gaining diverse administrative and academic experiences in the process. He has worked in Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, MCPHERSON University, Seriki-Sotayo, Ogun State, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, and currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti.
