Biography
Dr. Stephen Alaba Mogaji is a seasoned Nigerian Computer Scientist and University Lecturer whose work focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning. He is a lecturer and currently the Head of Department in the Department of Cybersecurity at Federal University Oye-Ekiti and has published research spanning intelligent systems, network security, biometrics, and AI applications in healthcare. Mogaji's academic work combines computer networking with data-driven artificial intelligence. His research profile indicates expertise in areas including Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), network security, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things, alongside the development of machine learning models for practical applications. His publications have attracted citations from researchers working in networking, security, and AI. His publications cover a broad range of topics, including: • Cybersecurity and Information Security • Network trust and security, particularly trust evaluation models for IoT and mobile ad hoc networks. • Digital forensics and intrusion detection. • Biometric systems, including gait recognition. • Machine learning for healthcare, such as prediction models for diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, malaria, and hypertensive heart disease. • Natural language and accessibility technologies, including sign language translation using deep learning. • AI-based monitoring systems, including systems for detecting suspicious activity in online chat platforms.
