Dr. Esther Adebimpe Ogunwole is a counselling psychologist whose research focuses on promoting psychosocial well-being, educational development, mental health, behavioural change, and resilience among children, adolescents, and young adults. Her work explores the application of counselling theories and evidence-based interventions to address challenges related to mental wellness, disruptive behaviours, career development, self-esteem, peer influence, academic success, and social adjustment.
Her recent studies examine resilience, coping strategies, stress management, peer support, inclusive education, mindfulness, eating behaviours, adolescent health, and psychosocial development. She has also conducted cross-national research involving Nigeria and other African countries, contributing to knowledge on youth development, counselling practice, and educational psychology.
Dr. Ogunwole has published extensively in reputable national and international journals, including several indexed in Scopus. Her current research integrates counselling psychology with emerging approaches such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and multidisciplinary collaborations to address contemporary educational and mental health challenges. Through her scholarship, she seeks to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that inform policy, strengthen counselling practice, and improve the quality of life of individuals and communities.
