Biography

Dr. Udukhomose Suleiman Omokhabi is a Nigerian academic, researcher, and social work professional who serves as Lecturer I in the Department of Adult Education, Faculty of Education, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Adult Education with specialization in Social Welfare and Mental Health from the University of Ibadan. His academic qualifications also include a Master of Social Work (Health Social Work), a Master of Education in Adult Education (Social Welfare), and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Dr. Omokhabi's research and teaching interests include adult education, social welfare, social work, mental health, educational psychology, community development, health promotion, artificial intelligence in education, and lifelong learning. His scholarly work focuses on developing evidence-based interventions and policies that enhance educational outcomes, mental well-being, and social inclusion.
He has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers published in national and international outlets. His research addresses diverse issues, including mental health literacy, reproductive health, child welfare, cybercrime, global citizenship education, and social welfare policy.
As an educator and mentor, Dr. Omokhabi has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects while promoting excellence in research, academic writing, and ethical scholarship. He is a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and the National Association of Social Workers (Nigeria), and remains committed to advancing education, social justice, and community development through impactful teaching, research, and professional service.
