Dr. Ayomipo Martins Ojo is a Lecturer I in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (2025), an MTech in Analytical Chemistry from the same institution (2016), and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Ado-Ekiti (2008). Prior to his academic appointment, Dr. Ojo served for eight years (2011–2019) as a Laboratory Technologist in the Department of Chemistry at Federal University Oye-Ekiti, where he supported faculty and student research and developed a strong practical foundation in laboratory ethics and Standard Operating Procedures. He joined the academic staff as Assistant Lecturer in 2019, was promoted to Lecturer II in 2022 (during which he also served as Departmental Examination Officer), and was promoted to Lecturer I in 2025. He regularly supervises final-year undergraduate research projects and has contributed to syllabus revision for accreditation compliance. Dr. Ojo has authored or co-authored seven peer-reviewed journal articles in venues including Industrial Crops and Products, Data in Brief, MethodsX, the FUOYE Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences, the International Journal of Science and Technology, and the Chemical Science International Journal, covering topics in cellulose materials chemistry, environmental bioaccessibility modelling, and phytochemistry. Dr A.M. Ojo is a Member of Chemical Society of Nigeria, he is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technologists (NISLT) and a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
