Biography
Amosun, Abodunrin Olukayode attended Government Technical College, Ilode, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, and the Federal School of Arts and Sciences, Ondo. He subsequently gained admission to Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, in 1997, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) degree in History and International Studies (2001).
He obtained a Master's degree in History and Diplomacy (2010), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2011) at Lagos State University, and completed a PhD in History and Diplomacy (2025) at Taraba State University, Jalingo.
His core research interests include Nigerian History, Economic History, Good Governance and Democratization, Urban and Environmental History, and International Politics.
Dr. Amosun has participated in several local academic conferences and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a member of various professional bodies and academic associations in Africa.
He previously served as a part-time lecturer at Lagos State University External System (LASUES) and at the Directorate of Degree Programmes (DDP), Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, hosted at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto-Ijanikin, Lagos.
Since 2021, he has been a lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), where he currently serves.

Nigerian History, Economic History, Good Governance and Democratization, Urban and Environmental History, and International Politics.
