Biography

Mukaila Olagunju is a professor of Software Engineering at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti, Nigeria. He is a holder of a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, an MSc degree in Mathematics with an option in Computer Science, and a B.Tech degree in Mathematics / Computer Science. With more than two decades of experience, he has vast expertise in teaching, research, academic administration and professional services in Nigerian universities. His areas of specialisation include data mining, machine learning, software visualisation, mathematical modelling, fuzzy logic, risk management, and computational intelligence. He has written several peer-reviewed articles and textbooks on various areas of research such as healthcare analytics, cybersecurity, biometrics, predictive modeling, blockchain and intelligent systems. Professor Olagunju is a registered member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
