Biography

Mr. Paul Owoicho Gideon is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Cybersecurity, Faculty of Computing, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and an M.Sc. in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics from the same institution. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity at the Centre for Cyberspace Studies, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
His teaching and research focus on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital forensics, network security, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) security, machine learning, and cyber threat intelligence. His current doctoral research explores adversarially robust multi-model artificial intelligence for securing energy grid Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) environments using federated learning and advanced machine learning techniques.
Mr. Gideon is passionate about advancing cybersecurity education, conducting impactful research, mentoring students, and developing innovative AI-driven solutions to emerging cyber threats. He is committed to contributing to national and global cybersecurity through quality teaching, collaborative research, and professional service.
