Biography

Dr. (Engr.) Oluwole Daniel ADIGUN is a Lecturer in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria, where he has served since 2011.

He began his professional career as a Trainee Engineer at a Ceramic Company in Suleja, Niger State in 2006.

Dr. Adigun obtained his B.Eng from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, an M.Sc in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a PhD from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a COREN registered Engineer and was a Guest Research Fellow at TU Darmstadt, Germany.

He is committed to teaching, research, and mentoring future engineers.

Functional and Smart Materials, Optoelectronic Sensors, Advanced Characterization, Sustainable Process Design, Energy Systems, and Structural Integrity
