Biography

Dr. David Mobolaji is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. Over a decade, he has been developing interdisciplinary approaches to urban planning, community resilience, and disaster risk management, especially in Nigeria. Dr Mobolaji’s work includes developing disaster resilience strategies, and supporting cities in building climate resilience environment. He is currently working on projects to promote community disaster resilience in Nigeria. Dr Mobolaji has authored over 20 peer-reviewed papers on infrastructure planning and disaster resilience, and the studies focuses on bridging gap between research and practice through innovative strategies for building stronger and more resilient communities. He is a recipient of several awards including Fellow of Utrecht Summer School in University of Utrecht, Netherlands and Regulation of Local Public Services in Turin, Italy.
