Biography

Dr.( Mrs.) Adeboboye Roseline Osatohanmwen is a Nigerian, who holds degree in BSc Accounting, MSc Accounting, PhD Accounting and Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is currently working as an academic staff in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE). Aside her teaching engagement, she is serving in other capacity such as, the Level Adviser of Students, Chairman of the Faculty of Management Sciences Moral and Dress Code Committee, Member of the Department of Accounting Research and Development Committee, Member of the Faculty of Management Sciences Quality Assurance Committee and due to her communication skills, she has served as the Compere for several conferences and workshops organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences, FUOYE. Her Publications focus on contemporary issues in accounting, management of listed firms in emerging economies, especially in the area of financial management and strategic management accounting. She has engaged in services to her communities and humanity in the capacity of Adhoc staff and Roving Officer during national elections and has served in the capacity of a campaign officer for World Water Day, under Justice Development and Peace Initiative of Ekiti Catholic Diocese.

Research Interests

My teaching interest focus on financial accounting, international financial reporting standards (IFRS) adoption, management accounting and forensic accounting. While my research interest focus on financial management, strategic management accounting, performance measurement systems, corporate reporting disclosure practices. I focus on analyzing how financial data management directly impacts operational efficiency of listed firms across various industries in emerging economies, especially in the area of financial management and strategic management accounting. Also, my research interest further focus on analyzing how advancement in information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) has boost profitability of listed firms in emerging economies and financial reporting system of such listed firms.

Level Adviser: I am currently the Level Adviser of 400 level students (undergraduates). This gives me the opportunity to assist 400 level sort out any issue , they maybe facing with regards to their academic, as the level Adviser, I am avail the opportunity to guide these students and build them both in character and learning.

Chairman, Faculty of Management Sciences Moral and Dress Code Committee: As the Chairman of the committee, I have the privilege to work with other members of the committee to ensure that decent dressing is promoted and enforced, encouraging students to shine both their inner and outer beauty through decent dressing.

Member, Department of Accounting Research and Development Committee: As a member I have been privileged to work with other erudite scholars of the department in the area of Publications and conferences

Member, Faculty of Management Sciences Quality Assurance Committee: Being a member of Quality Assurance Committee of the faculty, I have been given the the opportunity to interact with students about the quality of lecture and other academic assistance being given to them. I also ensure that the flow of lectures and examinations are not disrupted.
