Olosunde Adesola Feyisayo is a Nigerian scholar, educator, and researcher in Educational Guidance and Counselling at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Nigeria. Her research is dedicated to advancing child and adolescent wellbeing, educational psychology, and school-based counselling through evidence-informed and culturally responsive interventions.
Her research interests span counselling psychology, child protection and safeguarding, school-based intervention programmes, educational mental health, psychosocial development, psychological assessment and scale development, guidance and counselling practice, and educational policy. She is particularly interested in designing and evaluating interventions that enhance children's safety, resilience, emotional wellbeing, and academic success within African educational contexts.
Dr. Olosunde's scholarly work integrates quantitative and mixed-methods approaches to address pressing educational and psychosocial challenges affecting learners and educational institutions. Her research has contributed to the development and validation of psychological assessment instruments and intervention models that support child protection, mental health promotion, and positive behavioural outcomes. She is also interested in decolonising counselling practices by promoting culturally relevant approaches to educational guidance and psychosocial support across Africa.
As an emerging academic, she is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, high-impact research, and translating research findings into policies and practices that improve educational systems and learner wellbeing.
