Biography

Engr. James Olaoye Akinyoola was born in ilesa, Osun state but of Okemesi – Ekiti origin in Ekiti state.
He graduated from the famous Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He obtained Postgraduate Diploma (PGD.) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, (FUTA), Ondo State Nigeria before proceeding to the London South Bank University, (LSBU) United Kingdom for the Master Degree in Energy.
Afe Babalola University tagged him utility Engineering Staff with both classroom training and field engineering practice. He joined Federal University, Oye-Ekiti as a Lecturer to continue his passion in Academic and Research Engineer after spending close to 20 years of field Engineering Practice.

Aside the new responsibility of being a member of FUOYE Energy HUB innovation, He is also a registered and certified member of so many Professional bodies at both Nigeria and International levels amongst which include; COREN, ASME, CIBSE, MEI, NSE, IAEng and Computer Professional having participated in the Advanced Management Programme in the Cybersecurity for Top Executives.
He was once awarded the best non-teaching staff at ABUAD in 2010 and as well as a most outstanding NYSC participant in 2004 in Kano State, Nigeria. He was recently confirmed with a prestigious honorary award of Doctor of philosophy (PhD) Degree in project management from DOXA Institute, Kaduna, an
affiliate of the Cornerstone University, Israel/USA and International Council for Higher Education Zurich, Switzerland.

Research Interests

His Research interests are in the areas of refrigeration and air-conditioning system, sustainable energy and the environment, Hybrid Energy Systems, Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM).
He currently studies an in-depth topology and anatomy of renewable energy output from the Hydro Power, Solar and Biogas perspective at the PhD. Level in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Federal University Oye – Ekiti.
