Biography

The Provost, Prof. Olusola Atilade Adeeyo was born into the Eegun-Oko family of Ejigbo, Osun State, Nigerian on 8th of June, 1970. In his early days, he attended Baptist Day School and the Baptist High School Oke Moyo, Ejigbo respectively and later proceeded to the prestigious University of Ibadan in 1987 where he was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MB;BS in 1994.

He later proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife for his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology in 2009. He bagged his Ph.D in Anatomy in 2015 at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. Prof. Adeeyo started his lecturing career at Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso Oyo State in the year 2002 as Lecturer II. He was later promoted to the post of Lecturer I, Senior Lecturer and Reader in same Department of the University. At different times, he had other experiences and several appointments as Ag. HOD, Team lead and Member, MDCN and NUC Accreditation Teams.
His pragmatic academic and administrative symbiosis catapulted him to the position of the two terms Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) between year 2020 and 2025. Presently, he is the substantive Provost of the College of Medicine of the School, FUOYE.
I have supervised more than five hundred (500) undergraduate and twelve (12) Postgraduate students. Married with children.
