Biography

Dr. Deborah Olubamise is a Lecturer II in the Agricultural Education Unit, Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria, where she currently serves as the Head of the Agricultural Education Unit. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Education, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Science Education, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, as well as a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric.) from the University of Ilorin. She also possesses a Diploma in Computer and Internet Literacy.

Dr. Olubamise has over two decades of professional experience in teaching, educational administration, and academic leadership. Before joining the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, she served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Ekiti State University and a Part-Time Lecturer in the Directorate of Continuing Education Programmes. She previously held leadership positions in secondary education, including Head of the Vocational and Technology Department and Vice Principal (Administration), where she contributed significantly to curriculum development and educational management.

Her research interests include Agricultural Education, Science Education, Entrepreneurship Education, Educational Technology, STEM Education, Sustainable Agricultural Development, and Technical and Vocational Education. She is committed to innovative teaching, quality research, student mentorship, and community engagement. Dr. Olubamise has published scholarly articles in reputable and peer-reviewed journals in National and International Conferences she's also a member of
i. Organic Agricultural Professionals in Tertiary Institution in Nigeria (OAPTIN)
ii. Agricultural Education Teachers Association of Nigeria ( AETAN)
iii. Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria ( TRCN)
and continues to contribute to the advancement of agricultural education through research, professional collaboration, and academic service.
