Biography

Iam an Economist and emerging academic with a strong background in economic research, teaching support, quantitative analysis, and socioeconomic research. I holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria, with research specialization in financial inclusion, financial innovation, disability and inclusive development.

My postgraduate research examined the impact of financial inclusion and innovation on the well-being of women with disabilities in Kwara State, employing quantitative and qualitative research approaches, primary data collection, financial inclusion measurement, and econometric analysis. My research experience includes survey design and implementation, fieldwork coordination, data management, statistical analysis, interpretation of empirical findings, and academic writing.

As an academic, iam committed to teaching, research, student development, and community engagement. I have a growing interest in interdisciplinary and data-driven research and seeks to apply modern quantitative methods and emerging technologies, including data analytics and artificial intelligence, to economic research and policy analysis.

Iam also developing a research portfolio through work on macroeconomic determinants of domestic savings in Nigeria and related areas of applied macroeconomic and development research. My long-term academic goal is to contribute to knowledge through high-quality research, publications, teaching, and policy-relevant scholarship while pursuing further postgraduate study at the doctoral level.
