Biography
Dr. Pamilerin Ogundare was born in Ilorin, Nigeria, and hails from Oye Local Government Area, Ekiti State. He earned his BSc in Sociology from the University of Ado Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) in 2004, graduating as the best student in his department. He later obtained an MSc in Sociology from the University of Ilorin (2017) and completed his PhD in Sociology at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, in 2026, with a thesis on low-skilled workers and the informal economy in Southwest Nigeria.
Dr. Ogundare spent over a decade as an Administrative/Supervisory Officer at Tantalizers Plc and later served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti. His research focuses on industrial sociology and the sociology of work, with publications in academic journals and two self-published books on stress management and healthy living.
Beyond academia, he is active in community service, having volunteered as speaker at the Kwara State Juvenile Home Centre, Ilorin, kwara State, Nigeria, served as a Sunday school teacher in ILAGOM church, Akure, Ondo State and protocol officer at Grace Covenant Centre, Ado Ekiti. Nigeria. He is a creative artist, writer and researcher. He is married with three children.
