Biography
I am Isuaran Umor Mark, a sociologist from Obedum community in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. I obtained a Diploma in Public Administration from the Bayelsa State College of Arts and Science before proceeding to obtain my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sociology and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Sociology of Development from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
My academic and research interests are in the areas of development studies, social transformation, gender studies, and community development. I am passionate about teaching, research, and the application of sociological knowledge towards addressing contemporary social and developmental challenges.
I currently serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
Research Interests
My research interests are in the areas of development studies, social transformation, gender studies, and community development.
