Biography

Samuel Ungwanen is a distinguished academic and a rising authority in the Philosophy of Religion. Born in Amadu, Takum Local Government Area, Taraba State, he has dedicated his career to advancing knowledge, leadership, and education. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Taraba State University in 2017, graduating with Second-Class Upper Division. Determined to deepen his expertise, he proceeded to Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, where he obtained a Master of Arts in Philosophy of Religion. His groundbreaking thesis, "Evil in Traditional Tiv Cosmology," explores the complexities of moral philosophy within indigenous African belief systems, and he holds a PhD in Philosophy of Religion from the Department of Religious Studies at Ekiti State University. Beyond academics, Samuel is a certified leader. He trained at the WATSAN Training and Development Centre, earning a certificate in Leadership and Teamwork, further solidifying his ability to drive change and inspire others. Professional Engagements Samuel Ungwanen is an educator, mentor, and thought leader. He currently lectures at Federal University Oye Ekiti.
