Research Interests

My primary research interest lies in Cost Management within the construction industry. I focus on developing innovative approaches to improve cost estimation accuracy, effective cost planning, and proactive cost control throughout the project lifecycle. My work explores key areas such as life-cycle costing, value engineering, risk-based cost modelling, and the impact of emerging technologies (including Building Information Modelling – BIM) on cost management practices. I am particularly interested in how economic volatility, sustainable construction practices, and modern procurement strategies influence project cost performance. Through my research, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice by producing actionable frameworks that enhance cost efficiency, minimise waste, and deliver greater value for construction stakeholders.
