Biography
Toluwanimi Bamigbola is a communication and media professional with over three years of experience spanning public relations, digital media production, institutional communication, and broadcast journalism. She recently joined the Department of Mass Communication, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, as a Graduate Assistant.
Prior to this appointment, she served at the Directorate of information, Public Affairs and Communication formally Directorate of Information and Corporate Services (Public Relations Office) of the university, first as a Corps Member during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme and subsequently as an Ad-hoc Staff, Writer and Digital Content Creator. In these roles, she contributed significantly to institutional publicity, multimedia storytelling, and digital engagement campaigns. Her work across social media platforms consistently generated strong audience engagement, with several campaigns recording over 10,000 organic views. She has also contributed to major institutional initiatives including the One-Day Vice-Chancellor Initiative (First & Second Edition), Edutechment, the FUOYE Alumni Association Election & Excos Inauguration, where she functioned in media, documentation, and strategic communication roles. During her NYSC service year, she equally served as Chief Presenter and Media Content Creator at the Orientation Broadcasting Service (OBS), anchoring daily news broadcasts for thousands of corps members. A graduate of English and Communication Studies from Federal University Otuoke, Toluwanimi possesses competencies in content development, public speaking, digital storytelling, multimedia production, and strategic communication. She is also trained in advanced online video editing and has received recognition for excellence in public speaking and communication.
As a young academic and communication professional, she is passionate about leveraging media and storytelling for institutional growth, audience engagement, and impactful communication.
