Biography

Dr. Oluwanife Falebita holds a PhD in Mathematics Education and is a researcher, lecturer, author, editor, and peer reviewer with a strong academic and research background in mathematics education, educational psychology, educational technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) in education. His research is driven by a commitment to advancing innovative, evidence-based approaches that enhance teaching, learning, and curriculum development in the digital age. His primary research interests include the psychology and technology of mathematics education, AI in education, AI literacy, teacher education, technology-enhanced learning, digital pedagogy, self-regulated learning, and mathematics curriculum development. He is particularly interested in exploring how emerging technologies can be leveraged to improve mathematics teaching and learning, strengthen teacher preparation, foster learner engagement, and support educational transformation within the context of Education 5.0 and the Fifth Industrial Revolution (5IR). Dr. Falebita has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly publications in reputable international journals and has contributed to several multidisciplinary research projects focusing on educational innovation, technology adoption, and AI integration in teaching and learning. He also serves as a peer reviewer and editor for high-impact international journals, supporting the dissemination of rigorous and impactful educational research. In addition to his research and publication activities, Dr. Falebita is actively involved in academic mentoring, curriculum design, and collaborative research initiatives to improve educational policy and practice. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Zululand, South Africa, where he continues to conduct cutting-edge research on AI, educational technology, and mathematics education while fostering international research collaborations.
