Biography

Dr Paul Onanuga is of the Department of English and Literary Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. His research interests revolve around linguistic practices in New Media Studies, queer sexualities on digital media, Nigerian Hip-Hop Studies, and Computer Mediated Communication/Discourse Analysis. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Discourse Context and the Media, Editor of OYE: Journal of Language, Literature & Popular Culture, and has been Fellow of several awarding institutions. He is widely published.

Research Interests

His research interests revolve around linguistic practices in New Media Studies, queer sexualities on digital media, Nigerian Hip-Hop Studies, Computer Mediated Communication/Discourse Analysis, and more recently, ecocriticism/blue humanities.
