Biography

Louis Taiwo Omojola is a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti and a native of Usi-Ekiti. He attended St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Ojido, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State for the First School Leaving Certificate, Sacred Heart Seminary, Akure, Ondo-State and Unity Secondary School, Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State Government College, Ado-Ekiti), Ekiti Sate for the Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School Certificates. He had the Priestly formation at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Major Seminary, Spiritual Year Campus, Ekpoma, Edo-State, Nigeria and Ss Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria
He bagged a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and Bachelor of Sacred Theology (B.TH) from the Pontifical Urban University, Rome, Italy. He also bagged the following Post-Graduate Degrees: a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Journalism from International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, Nigeria, Master of Arts (M.A) in Religious Studies from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria with specialization in Comparative Religion, Licentiate in Sacred Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Licentiatus-S.T.L) from the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas, Rome, Italy with specialization in Interreligious/Ecumenical Studies, Certificate in Religious Pluralism (Cert) from Shalom Hartman Institute, Jerusalem, Israel, Professional Diploma in Education (P.D.E) from College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria (now Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Religious Studies with specialization in Comparative Religion from the Department of Religious Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria
