Biography

Dr. Aruleba Adenike Lucia is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Counseling at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. She is a dedicated academic with a strong commitment to student development and professional excellence.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Guidance and Counseling/Language Arts from the University of Ibadan in 1999. She later earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Guidance and Counseling from Ekiti State University in 2016, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Guidance and Counseling in 2024. Dr. Aruleba has over five years of lecturing experience, during which she has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and student mentorship.

Her areas of expertise include research, mentoring, and leadership. She has authored and co-authored several scholarly publications, including works on health literacy and mental health among undergraduates, post-COVID-19 academic engagement, gender disparities in education, and the role of ICT in primary school libraries in Nigeria.

Dr. Aruleba is a member of the Ekiti State Counseling Association and the Association of Professional Counseling of Nigeria. She is widely regarded as a dedicated, inspiring, and student-focused educator who is passionate about shaping the academic and personal growth of her students.
