Biography

Fatimat Nene Abubakar is a Lecturer I in the Faculty of Law at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. She holds an LL.B, LL.M degrees. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Law with research focusing on the right to health of children with disabilities in Nigeria from a comparative perspective. Her research examines the intersection of disability, healthcare, and human rights with particular emphasis on strengthening legal and policy frameworks for protecting the rights of children with disabilities.
Her teaching and research span Health Law, Human Rights Law, Disability Rights, and Public International Law.
