Biography
Prof. A.A. Ajiboye is a Professor of Botany (Plant Physiology) in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He obtained his BSc. Biological Science (Botany), MSc. Botany (Plant Physiology) and Ph.D. Botany (Plant Physiology) in the year 2002, 2006 and 2009 respectively; at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB) but now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Head of Department, Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, 2014-2019. Dean Faculty of Science, 2022-2026. Pioneer Director, Institute of Parttime Studies March 2022 - July 2022. Member, 4th FUOYE Governing Council 2022 - 2026.
Research Interests
Eco-Physiology and Germination Studies of Forest and Savannah tree seeds
Use of Nanoparticles to enhance and promote multipurpose tree seeds germinability.
Use of Ecto and Endo Mycorrhizae in germination studies and raising of valuable tree seedlings.
