Biography

Dr Chidiebere Agha Otuu is a Lecturer in the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He holds a B Sc (Parasitology & Entomology, M. Tech. (Applied Entomology & Parasitology) and a PhD (UNN) in Parasitology & Public Health (Zoology). He is a member of several learned societies such as Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria, Zoology Society of Nigeria, Biotechnology Society of Nigeria, British Society for Parasitology, American Society for Microbiology and International Society for Infectious Diseases. He has over 30 scholarly publications in reputable local and international Journals. His areas of research interest include Parasitology, Public Health, Epidemiology and control of Infectious Diseases, Neglected Tropical Diseases, Zoonotic Diseases, Water and Vector-borne Diseases and One Health.

Research Interests

Parasitic and infectious diseases isepidemiology, control and prevention, malaria research, Neglected Tropical Diseases research, Zoonotic Diseases, Water-borne Diseases, Vector-borne Diseases, Public Health research and the application of the One Health Concept in the control of parasitic/infectious disease.
