Biography
Mustapha Imran Taiwo is a Nigerian Computer Engineer and academic from Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Computing and Information Engineering, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE).
He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, graduating with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). His undergraduate research focused on the development of an Automatic Energy Management and Control System using Renewable Energy Sources.
Before joining the academic staff of FUOYE, he gained practical experience through his industrial training at the Management Information Centre, Office of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, and later served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), where he contributed to digital literacy and youth development initiatives.
His research interests include Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence Applications, Renewable Energy Systems, Computer Hardware Engineering, Digital Systems Design, and Smart Energy Technologies. He is passionate about teaching, research, innovation, and mentoring the next generation of engineers while contributing to technological advancement and national development.
Research Interests
Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Renewable Energy Systems, Smart Grid Technologies, Embedded Intelligence for Energy Management, Computer Hardware Engineering, Digital Systems Design, Robotics and Automation, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Intelligent Computing.
