Biography
Cheryl Ifeanyichukwu Nwokeoma is currently a Lecturer I at the Department of Microbiology, Federal University Oye-Ekiti. She lectures Microbiology courses and supervises studentsβ degree projects at both undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Science degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Microbiology/Environmental Microbiology. As an Environmental Microbiologist, she specializes in microbial enzymes associated with environmental waste degradation. Her publications include peer-reviewed articles in Societal, Institutional and Scopus-indexed journals. She is currently the Postgraduate Coordinator of her Department. She hails from Abia State, Nigeria, is married with children and loves teaching, travelling and researching.
