Biography

Dr (Mrs) Omonijo Adejumoke Oluwatosin is a native of Ilesa, Osun State. She obtained her B. Sc. (Zoology) and M. Sc. (Zoology) from the University of Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria and her PhD from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She is a recipient of many grants and has published in various high impact journals. She is a member of various professional bodies within and outside Nigeria and she is dedicated to training and mentoring early-career researchers and academics. She is happily married with children.

Research Interests

My research area focuses on understanding the epidemiology and biology of parasites associated with Neglected Tropical Diseases using molecular techniques.
