Biography

Israel Oluwasanmi Oluwole, Ph.D is an Associate Professor of Political Science, Department of Political Science, Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He specializes in conflict, peace and strategic studies. He was born to the family of Late Pastor and Mrs Samuel Oluwasegun Oluwole in Ogotun Ekiti, Ekiti South West Local Government, Ekiti State. He had his Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in History and Political Science at the College of Education Ikere Ekiti, now (Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology). Israel Oluwasanmi Oluwole bagged his B. Sc (Hons) in Political Science/Education from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. His M.Sc and PhD in Political Science with area of specialty in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. His first teaching appointment was at the department of Public Administration and Local Government, University of Nigeria Nsukka and the appointment lasted for almost 10 years. He is a seasoned scholar, he has published in reputable journals of repute both locally and internationally and have attended scholarly conferences both home and abroad. In the area of project and thesis supervision, he has successfully supervised numerous undergraduate and Postgraduate students in the University of Nigeria Nsukka and Federal University Oye Ekiti. His hobbies includes, Research, Teaching, Reading, Traveling and Sports.

Peace and Conflict Resolution, Public Policy Analysis, Political Behavior, Public Sector Industrial Relations, Law and Politics, Human Rights.
