Biography

Adeolu A. ADEDIRAN is An Associate Professor and Research Head, Materials Design and Structural Integrity Group, Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State. He has mentored 3 PhD to completion (with 7 ongoing Doctoral students), 6 Master's (12 ongoing), and over 60 undergraduate students. He served as an Editorial Board member for Q1 Journals, among other services to academia. He has enjoyed several funding opportunities, both locally and internationally. He was awarded the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Postdoctoral Fellowship. An attendee as an international delegate for the G20 gathering on Bio-circular economy at Itanagar, sponsored by the Government of India. He has over 300 peer-reviewed publications, with 250+ documents in Scopus. He has over 10 book chapters. A registered Engineer with COREN and other seasoned professional bodies. He was a former director of research for innovation and discoveries at Landmark University. A former HoD of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the same University before joining FUOYE. He is the desk officer for R&D commercialization for the value chain at FUOYE. He has been listed in the top 20 among the top 500 researchers in Nigeria consecutively from 2020-2026. Currently, he has the highest Scopus documents in FUOYE and is listed in the Top 2% Scientists.
