Biography

Mrs. Christianah Adejokemi Daramola is a Language Education specialist with over twenty-three years of teaching experience in English Language Education. She holds a First Degree and a Master's Degree in English Language Education from Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) and the University of Ibadan respectively.
Over the course of her career, she has taught a broad range of courses spanning teacher education and language studies, including Introduction to Teaching Profession, Foundations of Education, Sociology of Education, Subject Methodology (English Language), Communication Skills, Theories of Language Learning, Second Language Acquisition, Intercultural Communication, Literacy Theories, Teaching English as a Second Language, Teaching Literacy Skills and Literature, Literature in English Language Education, and Theories of Learning Applied to Language Education.
Beyond classroom instruction, she plays an active role in teaching practice supervision and undergraduate mentorship, guiding student-teachers through the practical demands of the profession. Her scholarly and professional interests centre on advancing language education pedagogy, with a particular focus on integrating emerging technology into teaching and learning to enhance language acquisition and communicative competence among learners.
She continues to contribute meaningfully to the development of English Language Education both within and beyond her institution, combining decades of classroom expertise with an evolving, forward-looking approach to language pedagogy.
